d-Red is one of the trailblazers in the app-based accessories industry. They created one of the first remote controlled helicopter using your iOS smartphones. They were also one of the firsts to embed health tools with apps to improve the experience. We were fortunate enough to work with them during the rise of app-based accessories.

d-Red ventured in the fields of app based medical/health devices. They developed the first weight scale and blood pressure monitor that records your progress via an iOS app.
Beyond that, the company also developed toys that can be controlled via apps. Among them the first ever RC iCopter and controllable Wobot speaker.
Enhanced app experience
Every product d-Red developed required an iOS app to operate. This made it quite interesting to develop product ideas for them. Some of the ideas added play value in a way normal controllers just can't do.
